About Me
Reverend Susan Gumm
I believe in the unique life journey of all individuals. It is my desire to bring forth the highest and best in each. The truth that I know is that all people are divine, spiritual beings living in this human earthly experience and have come into this world to fulfill a divine purpose.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Life is a journey, not a destination.”
Therefore, all of our stories are important. I love to listen to each story and honor the journey.
As an ordained Unity* Minister, I hold to the following principles:
-
I believe that God, Divine Mind, our Creator is the Source of our good and abundance
-
I believe in the Divine within each individual and seek to see it
-
I believe that our thoughts are powerful and we can create our reality by changing our thoughts
-
I practice prayer and meditation
-
I practice reflecting the Divine within me into the world
*Unity is a positive, practical, progressive approach to Christianity based on the teachings of Jesus and the power of prayer. Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual's right to choose a spiritual path.
